Ondo State Wins Gold at National Youth Games

Team Ondo emerged overall winners at the just-concluded National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State, with 15 gold, 12 silver, and 10 bronze medals. The state's athletes excelled in wrestling, athletics, and boxing. The Governor hosted the team at the Government House and promised cash rewards and scholarships for the gold medalists. "This is what happens when we invest in sports development. Our youth are world-class," he said. The state plans to build a multi-purpose sports complex in each senatorial district before the next games.
