New Maternal Health Center Opens in Ore
A new state-of-the-art maternal and child health center has been commissioned in Ore, Odigbo Local Government Area. The facility, funded by a partnership between Ondo State Government and the World Bank, includes 50 beds, a neonatal intensive care unit, and 24/7 ambulance services. It is expected to serve over 200,000 women and children in the southern senatorial district. The traditional ruler of Ore, Oba Victor Adetimehin, described it as "a new dawn for healthcare in this region." The center is the fourth of its kind in Ondo State, following similar facilities in Akure, Owo, and Ikare.
